¡Hola! Bienvenidos a mi biografía

Ashley Anderson is an African American & Mexican American actor with Indigenous roots from Funkytown, TX (Fort Worth). Ashley’s multiethnic background inspires her passion for diversity in the arts. Currently, she is pursuing an MFA in Acting at The Theatre School at DePaul University. Before this, Ashley received a BA in Theatre with a minor in Arts Leadership & Entrepreneurship at Texas Christian University (2022).

During undergrad, Ashley became an avid promoter for disability advocacy in the arts. Through her storytelling, she hopes to introduce theatre to underrepresented youth & uplift other BIPOC actors. While her degrees, Ashley founded a nonprofit organization that helps bring theatre to in-patient children. Stay tuned for more organizational news :)

She is a lover of indie coming-of-age films, horror flicks, and experimental/avant-garde theatre that have a lot of heart, soul, and grit. Stories like these are ones that Ashley would love to tell.

Ashley is an undercover playwright, travel enthusiast, language learner (currently a Korean & Spanish student), a baker of the sweetest treats, proud auntie, and a maximalist at heart. If there’s one thing she’s known for, it’s her effervescent style. Ashley has no fear when it comes to pushing boundaries with fashion & makeup. Clothes are how she expresses herself when there are no words.
